Description of Procedure:
- Students take a specific course (Research Proposal) to focus on the preparation of research proposals;
- The lecturers explain the concepts and rules in the preparation of scientific research proposals and the distinctiveness of research in the field of Cartography and Remote Sensing;
- The lecturer assigns students to prepare research proposals;
- Students prepare research proposals under the guidance of lecturers of the courses;
- Students fill out the Thesis Supervisor application form;
- The Thesis Supervisor is determined by the Chair of Study Program by considering the field of expertise of the lecturer with the theme of the thesis and then the decree of the Thesis Supervisor will be published by the Dean;
- The Supervisor receives decree as a Supervisor;
- Students who have obtained the Thesis Supervisor decree consult with the supervisor about the research proposal.
Procedure for Bachelor’s Thesis Proposal Seminar

Description of Procedure:
- Students fill out the Research Proposal Seminar application form provided by the Department or Study Program;
- The examiner is determined by the Chair of Study Program based on the research theme;
- Seminar of the thesis proposal is attended by students who were tested, several student friends, supervisors and examiners according to the schedule;
- The team of supervisors and examiners discuss, assess, and determine the results of the thesis proposal seminar;
- Students who passed the thesis proposal seminar will revise the proposed thesis proposal by consulting with the examiner and supervisor;
- Students can continue the research with the approval of the examiner and supervisor.
