Bachelor in Cartography and Remote Sensing Study Program is using ISO 9001: 2008 system and the standards applied by LAMSAMA (Indonesian Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in Natural and Formal Sciences) to ensure the quality assurance of the study program. LAMSAMA (http://lamsama.or.id/) is an independent accreditation agency, recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, that ensures the quality of study programs providing higher education in the fields of Natural Sciences and Formal Sciences. The accreditation criteria used in accreditation process are very clear, consisting of 1) vision, mission, goals/objectives; 2) governance, management and cooperation; 3) students; 4) human resources; 5) finance, facilities, and infrastructure; 6) education; 7) research; 8) community service; 9) outputs and achievements of the tridharma. The Bachelor in Cartography and Remote Sensing Study Program was accredited by LAMSAMA in 2024 and received Unggul or Excellent through SK No. 054/SK/LAMSAMA/Akred/S/VI/2024, which was valid until June 5, 2029.

In addition to being accredited by LAMSAMA, the Bachelor in Cartography and Remote Sensing Study Program has also received international accreditation from ASIIN (Akcreditierungsagentur für Studiengänge der Ingenieurwissenschaften, der Informatik, der Naturwissenschaften und der Mathematik e.V.) from Germany. This accreditation evaluates not only the program’s curriculum, but also the implementation process in achieving its objectives. The international accreditation is valid for seven years until September 30, 2031, and signifies that all business processes of the study program meet quality standards equivalent to Level 6 of the European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning.
